At Bay to Bay Resinous Coatings & Waterproofing, we have never been content with simply getting the job done. Since our founding in 2011, we have grown from a specialized resinous coatings contractor into a full-scale General Contractor with a reputation that speaks for itself across Florida and throughout the United States, Caribbean, and now LATAM. Our work spans luxury high-rise condominiums, commercial facilities, parking garages, healthcare campuses, educational institutions, hospitality properties, and municipal infrastructure, and in every one of those environments, the standard has never changed. Some leaders are built in boardrooms. Jeff Poritz was built in the ring. From founding his first service business at just 19 years old to building one of South Florida's most respected commercial contractors, Jeff has spent the last two decades earning a reputation for taking on the projects others couldn't, from national stadiums and federal government contracts to historic landmark restorations and complex, large-scale inspection projects governed by the stricter compliance and recertification standards enacted across South Florida in recent years.
Under his leadership, Bay to Bay Resinous Coatings & Waterproofing has grown from a single van and a storage closet into a national contractor trusted by some of the most demanding clients in the industry — built on the same discipline, resilience, and refusal to quit that Jeff first learned in the ring. As Partner and Head Estimator at Bay to Bay Resinous Coatings & Waterproofing, Jeremiah brings a body of work, a depth of experience, and a list of accomplishments that are virtually unmatched in the resinous coatings industry. His presence at Bay to Bay is not just an asset, it is a statement about the caliber of company we are and the standard we hold ourselves to.
A Kentucky native, who has made his mark across the entire United States, Jeremiah Mitchell has spent 27 years mastering every facet of the resinous coatings industry. Over the course of his journey he has been responsible for contracting more than $100 million worth of commercial projects, a figure that speaks not just to his volume of work, but to the trust that owners, general contractors, materials manufacturers, and project managers across the country place in his name and commitment.

When it comes to concrete restoration, waterproofing, and specialty coatings, few professionals bring the depth of knowledge, hands-on experience, and proven results that Sumair Haroon delivers on every project. Sumair is one of the driving forces behind the company's reputation for technical excellence, submittals, project planning, subcontractor management and scheduling, and of course uncompromising quality.
With more than twenty years of experience in the industry, Sumair has built a career defined by results. Over the course of his construction journey, he has successfully managed and delivered more than $20 million in completed restoration and waterproofing projects throughout Florida and across the United States. Sumair's portfolio spans some of the most technically demanding and high-profile project types in south Florida.

OUR HISTORY
Before Bay to Bay, the journey had already begun with two men, one van, and hunting residential natural stone work. These are the humble beginnings that started it all...
In 2006, Founder Jeff Poritz returned to his home in south Florida's Broward County. Having graduated high school with a full life of opportunities ahead, it was time for him to return to his roots. South Florida's tri-county area, and its' clear booming image, was ideal to begin digging in the trenches towards life's open path.
JEFF FOUNDED HIS FIRST CONTRUCTION COMPANY
This is where the first construction company was born. Located in a small office in Weston, Florida, with a 5'x10' equipment locker & a packed Chevy Astro van, were the tools to create a future. The residential natural stone polishers of the illustrious south Florida residential market, RX Marble, Inc., were responsible the foundation of the major commercial-swing & growth that was to come just five years later.
BAY TO BAY FOUNDED
AFTER 5 successful years in natural stone
The company was cemented, the market was growing, this was when the company entered the concrete industry with sealing & polishing, opening itself up to commercial contracts.
COMMERCIAL FOCUS
NO LONGER RESIDENTIAL SERVICEMEN
The commercial sector was going well, Bay to Bay began focusing exclusively smaller commercial projects & private equity properties with concrete work & small epoxy jobs.
GOVERNMENT WORK
BTB WAS NOW A COMMERCIAL CONTRACTOR
The first milestone to truly change the trajectory, Bay to Bay successfully completes its first government awarded contract of 50k sq/ft for the U.S. Air Force in Florida for plane hangars.

BTB was the recipient of the "Coatings Project of the Year" by CoatingsPro Magazine for 280k sq/ft of traffic-coatings at Raymond James Stadium, one of five stadiums completed that year.
THE NEXT LEVEL BEGINS
BTB'S MAJOR CONTRACTOR TURN
Awarded the Hardrock Guitar Hotel for the Seminole Tribe of Florida of over 200k sq/ft. Launched our Waterproofing division, being awarded our first Miami tower condo for milestone inspection & restoration.
MAJOR GROWTH
BECOMING A FORCE IN THE SOUTH EAST
By this year, BTB had grew to over 50+ installers in the field across the resinous coatings & waterproofing division, proving their expertise as high-performance coatings & waterproofing installers.

Bay to Bay wins "Tradesman of the Year" by the Construction Association of South Florida for the first phase of completion on Hallandale's Sea Air Towers full-restoration project towards their 40-year inspection.
INSPECTION MILESTONES
THE FIRST FOUR-YEAR PROJECT IN THE BOOKS
Successfully completed their longest restoration 40-year inspection project for Sea Air Towers, an adjacent complex to the Surfside Towers disaster. One of the areas first to completely pass full certified inspection.
